The power unit mounts have a structural connecting function between the power unit and the body.They are designed to support the weight of the power unit and the loads from the torque transmitted by the engine.It is a centre of gravity type support consisting of:- a hydraulic type support, timing side;- a rubber-metal support, gearbox side;- a reaction rod in the lower part, differential side.The mountings are aligned along an axis that passes through the engine''s centre of gravity, in order to achieve reaction forces with zero offset.
