Removing ( Refitting )
Follow the safety instructions.    Op. 5040 AIR CONDITIONING CASING AND COMPONENTS
- Position the vehicle on a lift.- Drain the coolant.    Op. 0010T84 COOLANT FOR AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM - DEHYDRATE AND REPRESSURIZE 1. Undo the bolt (1a) and disconnect the connector (1b) from the compressor (1c).
Seal the connectors that have been disconnected using suitable plugs to prevent dampness and impurities from entering the system.
- Raise the vehicle.1. Press the tabs (1a) on the rapid connector (1b), then disconnect the pipe (1c) coming from the compressor, first pushing it upwards and then pulling it downwards.2. Open the pipe retaining bands.3. Remove the pipe.
Refitting ( Removing ) - Check that the pipe from the compressor to the condenser is not damaged and that there are no cracks that could compromise the seal.
Replace the O rings for the connectors. Only use green coloured seals that are resistant to R134a coolant.Lubricate the connector threads using anti-freeze.
- Place the pipe from the faston connection to the condenser in position.- Connect the pipe retaining bands.- Connect the pipe coming from the evaporator to the rapid connector.- Lower the vehicle.1. Connect the connector (1a) to the compressor (1b) and tighten the bolt (1c) to the recommended torque.

- Repressurize the coolant    Op. 0010T84 COOLANT FOR AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM - DEHYDRATE AND REPRESSURIZE - Remove the vehicle from the lift.
