) - Position the vehicle on a lift. Op. 7055B54 UNDER ENGINE PROTECTION/GUARD - R.R. Op. 1016A10 SOUND-PROOFING COVER - R.R Op. 1064A31 HEAT SHIELD FOR TURBOCHARGER - R.R. Op. 1076A48 CATALYTIC CONVERTER HEAT SHIELD - R.R Op. 1076B72 INTERMEDIATE EXHAUST PIPE WITH HOSE SECTION - R+R 1. Undo the bolts fixing the catalytic converter mounting bracket.

1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the upper Lambda sensor.

2. Undo the nuts (2a) and remove the catalytic converter (2b).- Keep the gasket, check the condition of the studs and replace them if necessary.

1. Undo the bolts (1a) and remove the catalytic converter mounting bracket (1b).2. Undo and remove the Lambda sensor.

Refitting ( Removing

) - Position the Lambda sensor in its housing and tighten it to the recommended torque.

- Fit the catalytic converter mounting bracket in place and tighten the bolts to the recommended torque.

- Place the catalytic converter in position compelte with new gasket and tighten the new nuts.- Connect the electrical connection for the upper Lambda sensor.- Tighten the bolts fixing the catalytic converter mounting bracket.
