Removing ( Refitting ) Op. 5040C18 RECIRCULATION AIR INTAKE UNIT - R.R WITH AIR CONDITIONING CASING REMOVED Op. 5040C51 WATER SUPPLY PIPE TO AIR CONDITIONING HEATER - R.R. WITH AIR CONDITIONING CASING REMOVED Op. 5040C53 WATER RETURN PIPE FROM AIR CONDITIONING HEATER - R.R. WITH AIR CONDITIONING CASING REMOVED1. Undo the bolts.2. Release the retainers (2), then rotate the half casing (2b) and release the retainer (2c) from the housing (2d).
1. Keep the half casing (1a) complete with evaporator (1b).
1. If necessary, undo the two bolts (1a) and remove the expansion valve (1b). Keep the gaskets (1c).
Do not reuse the gaskets when refitting. |
The evaporator cannot be separated from the plastic half casing. |

- Check that the evaporator is intact and does not show signs of damage or deposits of dirt on the finned surface.- If removed, position the expansion valve with new gaskets and secure it using the bolts.- Position the half casing complete with evaporator and attach the retainers.- Tighten the bolts.
