Removing ( Refitting ) - Disconnect the negative battery terminal.    Op. 7040L22 REAR COVER ON TUNNEL - R.R.1. Disconnect the electrical connection from the lateral acceleration and yaw sensor.

2. Unscrew nuts (2a) and remove the lateral acceleration and yaw sensor (2b). Refitting ( Removing ) - Refit the lateral acceleration and yaw sensor and tighten the nuts to the specified torque.

Position the sensor with the stamped arrow in the direction of motion.
