199001199 - E1050 CAN CONNECTION LINES - FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION
FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION
Body Computer M1 - connector G - is suplied directly from the battery by the line protected by maxifuse F2 of engine compartment control unit B1.Body Computer M1 is ignition-operated (INT) at pin 32 of connector D: this signal is used, amongst other things, to "wake up the network".Pin 10 of connector H of M1 supplies the Body Computer with a reference earth. The nodes connected to Body Computer M1 - from pins 38 and 53 of connector A - via the high speed C-CAN network are:- electric steering control unit M86 ;- yaw sensor K74 (only present on versions with ESP);- ABS/ESP control unit M50 ;- engine management control unit M10;- robotized gearbox control unit M54 (versions with robotized gearbox)The nodes connected to Body Computer M1 via the low speed B-CAN network - from pins 39 and 54 of connector A and pins 5 and 20 of connector B --are:- instrument panel E50;- radio P20 ;- Bluetooth control unit M162- Air Bag control unit M60 .- climate control sytem control unit M70;- supplementary heater control unit M75- parking sensor control unit M84- tyre pressure control unit M47.Central diagnostic socket R10 is connected to the C-CAN network at pins 52 and 37 of connector A of M1 and to the B-CAN network at pins 39 and 54 of connector A of M1.This version does NOT include individual diagnostic K lines that monitor individual control units.
