- Measure the length of the steering rods to be used in the refitting.1. Loosen the nuts securing the steering rodst to the steering box.2. Undo the steering rods and remove them.
1. Loosen the band (1a) and remove the steering box boot (1b).
Refitting

- Place a new steering box boot in the housing and secure it using a new band.- Place the steering rods in their housings and tighten them to the steering box in accordance with the lengths measured during the removal.- Tighten the steering rod nuts to the recommended torque.
