Undo the connector for the coolant supply pipe to the engine oil heat exchanger, thermostat side.

1. Undo the connector for the coolant supply pipe to the engine oil heat exchanger, heat exchanger side.

1. Undo the fastenings (1a) and remove the coolant supply pipe for the engine oil heat exchanger (1b).

Refitting ( Removing

) - Place the coolant supply pipe for the engine oil heat exchanger in position and tighten the fastenings to the engine block and the heat exchanger.- Tighten the connectors for the engine oil heat exchanger coolant supply pipe complete with new gaskets to the recommended torque.

The connectors should be tightened keeping the pipe still. Any movements of more than 3° will adversely affect the seal of the connectors.
