2584122 - 0010T20 coolant change

1. With the engine cold, undo the engine coolant reservoir cap.
Do not remove the tank cap when the engine is hot as there is a risk of scalding.
1. Disconnect the lower radiator coolant outlet hose, radiator side.
Manually press the clips and withdraw the hose rapid connector. Collect the coolant in a suitable container.
Carry out    Op. 1048A10 AIR FILTER ASSEMBLY - R.R..1. Open the bleed on the radiator.2. Open the bleed fitting on the single pipe carrying water to/from the heater.
Wait for the coolant system to drain fully.Connect the lower radiator coolant outlet hose, radiator side.Keep the bleed fittings on the radiator and on the single pipe carrying water to/from the heater open.Refill the system by slowly introducing the recommended coolant into the engine coolant reservoir until fluid comes out of the bleed fitting on the radiator.

The table indicates the total amount of coolant in the circuit with the fluid level to the MAX notch on the reservoir.
Open the bleed fitting on the radiator.Continue filling until fluid emerges from the bleed fitting on the single pipe carrying coolant to/from the heater.Close the bleed fitting on the single pipe carrying water to/from the heater.Carry out    Op. 1048A10 AIR FILTER ASSEMBLY - R.R..1. Add more coolant to the MAX mark indicating the maximum permitted level in the expansion reservoir.
Fully tighten the cap on the engine coolant reservoir.Start up the engine and let it idle for about 2 minutes.Pump the accelerator gradually and regularly (every 30 seconds) to a speed of approximately 3000 rpm until the fan goes on and off at least three times to remove the air from the system.Stop the engine. After leaving the engine to cool, top up to the MAX notch indicating the maximum permitted level in the expansion reservoir.
The amount of fuel added must correspond at least to the amount recovered when the circuit is emptied. Otherwise repeat the operations from start-up onward.
