223001429 - E2010 SIDE LIGHTS/NUMBER PLATE LIGHT - FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION (MY 2005)

The side light activation signal reaches ignition switch H01 (STAZ) connector B pin 4 of stalk unit H05 when the stalk is switched to close the circuit between connector B pin 5 and connector B pin 6.Stalk unit H05 receives a power supply from fuse F32 in under-dashboard junction unit B02 and an additional fuse in engine compartment junction unit B01.When ignition switch H01 is set to STAZ, the body computer receives a power supply from H01 (POS) to activate the front and rear side lights and the number plate light via under-dashboard junction unit B02 pin 2 connector E.For front lights F10 and F11, the power supply is received from pins 40 and 30 connector C of the body computer; from pins 5 and 6 connector A for tail-lights F30 and F31.The power supply to number plate light unit F50 and F51 is protecteed by fuse F51 positioned in under-dashboard junction unit B02.Body computer M01 supplies the device built into instrument panel E50 via connector F (pins 31 and 36).The body computer is supplied via pin 11 connector E of junction unit B02 from ignition switch H01 (INT) and via a line protected by fuses F53 and F1 contained in control unit B02 and B01 and lastly directly from teh battery via a fuse F1 in engine compartment junction unit B01.The supply lines that reach junction unit B02 via pin 11 connector E and pin A connector C also supply control panel E50 via two lines protected by fuses F37 and F53.Pins 8 and 9 of connector D of the body computer are earthed.
