Removing ( Refitting

) Disconnect the battery negative terminal.1. Undo the bolts (1a) and remove the steering column bottom trim (1b).

1. Remove the FIAT CODE aerial from the ignition switch.

1. Disconnect the electrical connector (1a) for the switch and, acting on the tabs (1b), remove the contact block (1c).

Avoid the drive and the spacer coming out of the contact block housing to prevent refitting them incorrectly.

Refitting ( Removing

) Fit the contact block and connect the electrical connector for the ignition switch.

Position the FIAT CODE aerial in the ignition switch.Fit the steering column bottom trim and secure it with the bolts.Connect the negative battery lead and check that the ignition switch is working properly.
