) 1. Disconnect the positive (1a) and negative (1b) battery terminals and place them at the side.2. Undo the bolts (2a) and remove the battery retaining bracket (2b).

Remove the battery from the drip tray.

Refitting ( Removing

) Fit the battery in the drip tray.Fit the retaining bracket and tighten the bolts.Connect the positive and negative terminals.

Removing ( Refitting

) Make sure that the ignition key is in the OFF position.1. Undo the nuts and disconnect the battery negative terminal (1a) and positive terminal (1b) and move it aside.

2. Undo the bolts (2a) and remove the battery retaining bracket (2b).

Refitting ( Removing

) Place the battery in its housing.Fit the retaining bracket and tighten the bolts.Connect the positive terminal to the battery.
