For the 1.4 8v version only, if the rpm sensor is being replaced the following self-learning procedure must be carried out.Start up the engine without pressing the accelerator pedal with an engine temperature greater than or equal to 20 °C and idle the engine for 10 seconds

- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.1. Disconnect the electrical connection (1a), undo the bolt (1b) and remove the engine rpm sensor (1c).

Refitting ( Removing

) - Place the engine rpm sensor back in its housing, connect the electrical connection and tighten the bolt to the recommended torque.
