The dipped beams are activated by an earth signal from stalk unit H05 when the wheel is operated and reach body computer M01 at pin 4 connector D.With the key of, pin 33 connector F of the body computer receives a signal from the stalk unit that activates the follow me home function.To turn on the dipped beams, body computer M01 activates a relay F1 contained in under-dashboard junction unit B02 that receives a direct power supply protected by fuse F1 contained in under-dashboard junction unit B01 and sends it to the two right and left headlamps.Each line is protected by a fuse in the under-dashboard junction unit B02. F13 for the left headlamp and F12 for the right.An ignition-controlled signal (INT) from ignition switch H01 reaches pin 11 connector E of under-dashboard junction unit B02.The direct signal to the left headlamp is also sent to instrument panel E50 at pin 7 of connector A for functions that require this enablement signal.Instrument panel E50 also communicates with body computer M01 via pins 8 and 9 connector A and receives supply lines at pins 1 and 3 connector A. It also receives an earth signal at pin 2 connector A.In the Natural Power (1.6 16v Bipower) version, the direct signal to the left headlamp is also sent to instrument panel E50 at pin 6 of connector A for functions that require this enablement signal.Instrument panel E50 also communicates with body computer M01 via pins 4 and 3 connector A and receives supply lines at pins 1 and 2 connector A.
