Position the vehicle on a lift.Turn the ignition key to the OFF position.Lift the bonnetDisconnect the negative battery terminal.

Disconnect earth lead connection (1a) from compressor mount (1b).

1. Release collar (1a) securing climate control system pipes (1b) from the body.2. Unscrew bolt (2a) and remove mobile tensioner (2b), releasing pins (2c) from their seats.3. Unscrew nuts (3a) securing compressor mount (3b).4. Undo the compressor retaining bolts.

1. Undo the rear bolt (1a) and remove the compressor mounting (1b).

Refitting ( Removing

) Check that the compressor support is not damaged.1. Reposition the compressor mount.2. Tighten the rear bolt securing the compressor mount.

1. Tighten the compressor mount fixing bolts.2. Tighten the compressor mount fixing nuts.3. Position mobile tensioner (3a), engaging pins (3b) in their seats, then tighten bolt (3c).

4. Engage collar (4a) securing climate control system pipes (4b) to the body.

Lower the vehicle.Connect the earth lead connection to the compressor mount.
