Removing ( Refitting ) Position the vehicle on a lift.    Op. 7055B54 PROTECTION/GUARD UNDER ENGINE - R.R.Position a suitable container under the oil filter to collect the engine oil.1. Unscrew the drain plug and collect the oil in the container.

The engine oil used contains substances that are harmful to the environment. Place these substances in containers designed for oil collection and disposal.

1. Remove the engine oil cartridge filter. Refitting ( Removing ) Lubricate the oil filter gasket with engine oil.Hand-tighten the oil filter cartridge.Finish tightening the oil filter by turning it through a further 270 (3/4 turn).

Replace the oil plug copper seal.

Fit the drain plug into the threaded seat on the sump and tighten to torque.

Refill the engine with oil to the following specifications.
