Drain the fuel from the tank using suitable equipment. Adopt protective measures to meet current safety requirements.1. Acting on the levers (1a), lift up the rear seat cushion (1b) and move the floor covering (1c) aside to gain access to the fuel pump protective cover (1d).

1. Undo the fixing bolts (1a) and remove the protective cover (1b).2. Disconnect the electrical connection for the electric pump.

Proceed with the removal Op. 7055B43 REAR WHEEL ARCH LINER (ONE) LEFT OR RIGHT - R.R.(Right side).1. Undo the bolts fixing the fuel filler pipe to the bodyshell.2. Undo the bolts fixing the fuel filler pipe to the bodyshell.

1. Undo the bolts (1a) and remove the protective bracket (1b).

1. Disconnect the rapid attachments on the fuel supply pipe (1a) and return pipe (1b).

1. Position a suitable stand under the fuel tank to support it during removal.2. Undo the bolts securing the fuel tank mounting brackets.3. Remove the fuel tank complete with fuel filler pipe.

Refitting ( Removing

) Refit in its seating the fuel filler tank complete with fuel filler pipe.Tighten the bolts securing the fuel mounting brackets to the specified torque.

Remove the fuel tank supporting stand.Connect the rapid attachments for the fuel supply and return pipes.Refit the protective bracket in its seating and secure it with its bolts.Place the fuel filler pipe in its seating and secure it.Proceed with the refitting Op. 7055B43 REAR WHEEL ARCH LINER (ONE) LEFT OR RIGHT - R.R.(Right side).Connect the electrical connection to the electric pump.Place the protective cover back in its housing and fix it using the bolts.Put the floor trim back in its place.Lower the rear seat cushion, securing it to the anchoring hooks.Fill the car with the specified fuel using appropriate equipment and suitable protection in accordance with current safety regulations.Connect the battery terminal (-).Remove the car from the ramp.
