Seal the disconnected connectors, using suitable plugs, to prevent humidity and impurities from entering the system.

1. Undo the bolt (1a) and disconnect the compressor inlet pipe (1b), compressor side.

2. Disconnect the electrical connection for the air conditioning compressor electromagnet coupling.

3. Undo the bolts (3a) and remove the air conditioning compressor (3b). Refitting ( Removing ) If the air conditioning compressor is being replaced, proceed as follows.1. Undo the bolt (1a) and remove the oil separator (1b) from the compressor.

Manually rotate the air conditioning compressor to facilitate the removal of all the fluid.

The fluid is extremely hygroscopic: avoid leaving the containers open. Avoid leaving the compressor or any of the other components disconnected from the system for any longer than is absolutely necessary.

1. Recover the fluid drained from the compressor in a suitable transparent container (quantity A).2. Drain and recover the fluid from the new compressor (quantity B) in an identical container, following the instructions given previously.3. Introduce the same amount of fluid removed from the compressor being replaced into the new compressor (eliminate quantity C = B - A). 1. Place the air conditioning compressor support (1a) back in its housing and secure it tightening the bolts (1b) to the recommended torque.

2. Connect the electrical connection to the air conditioning compressor electromagnet coupling.3. Connect the compressor inlet pipe (3a), compressor side and tighten the bolt (3b) to the recommended torque.

Replace the O-Ring seals for the connectors. Only use green coloured seals, resistant to R134A coolant fluid. Lubricate the thread of the connectors using anti-freeze.

1. Connect the pipes from the air conditioning compressor to the condenser (1a), compressor side and secure them tightening the bolt (1b) to the recommended torque.

Replace the O-Ring seals for the connectors. Only use green coloured seals, resistant to R134A coolant fluid. Lubricate the thread of the connectors using anti-freeze.
