The vehicle climate is controlled via a duct/distributor unit with heater and controlled by means of three control knobs in the dashboard:- the middle knob controls the mixture flap mechanically between hot air and cold air;- the left knob mechanically controls the opening of the flaps that regulate the distribution of the air flows by means of a flexible cable;- the right knob adjusts the ventilationof the air, via an electrical control, at four different speeds; two versions are available: one three speed and one four speed. The control for the different fan speeds is achieved by means of a resistive distributor protected against overheating by a special thermal fuse. There is also a cursor on the control unit located under the knobs that adjusts the recirculation function mechanically by means of a flexible cable. The control unit is lit with the side lights on. See E2010 SIDE LIGHTS / NO. PLATE LIGHTSThe fan circuit is protected by a specific fuse and controlled by the passenter compartment air fan relay in the engine compartment junction unit. The fan can only be switched on with the ignition ON.
