2. Disconnect the electrical connection from the E.G.R. valve.

3. Disconnect the electrical connection from the fuel pressure sensor.

1. Undo the nuts (1a) and remove the vacuum reservoir (1b) complete with solenoid valve (1c) and pipes.

1. Loosen the band and disconnect the oil vapour recovery pipe from the tappet cover.2. Undo the bolts securing the electropneumatic throttle body.

1. Undo nuts (1a) and remove bracket (1b).

1. Tighten the bolts fixing the water/exhaust gas heat exchanger for the E.G.R. system.2. Undo the bolts (2a) and remove EGR solenoid (2b) complete with electropneumatic throttle body (2c) and pipe (2d).3. Remove the gaskets.

1. Disconnect the electrical connections from the injectors and move the wiring aside.

1. Undo the connectors for the pipes from the fuel manifold to the injectors (1a), fuel manifold side, using tool (1b).

2. Undo the connectors for the pipes from the fuel manifold to the injectors, injector side, using a commercial wrench.3. Remove the pipes from the fuel manifold to the injectors.

When refitting, use new pipes from the fuel manifold to the injectors.

1. Undo the bolts (1a) and remove the single fuel manifold pipe (1b), complete with fuel pressure sensor (1c).

1. Disconnect the electrical connections for the glow plugs.

2. Undo and remove the glow plugs.

1. Move the coolant return pipe to the coolant reservoir (1a) aside after disconnecting pipe (1b) and unscrewing the fastenings.

1. Undo the bolt (1a) and the nut (1b), then move the EGR water/exhaust gas heat exchanger (1c) away from the air chamber.

1. Undo the bolts (1a) and remove the air chamber (1b).2. Remove the gasket.

Refitting ( Removing

) 1. Refit air chamber (1a) complete with gasket (1b) and secure it by tightening nuts (1c) to the recommended torque.

Place the water/exhaust gas heat exchanger for the E.G.R. system back in its housing and secure it with the nut and bolts.Place the coolant return pipe to the engine cooling system reservoir back in its housing, secure and connect the pipe .1. Place the glow plugs back in their housings and tighten them to the recommended torque.

2. Connect the electrical connections for the glow plugs.

Place the fuel return manifold pipe and fuel pressure sensor back in its housing and secure it using the nuts.1. Fit all the pipes from the fuel manifold to the injectors and secure them using the connectors without tightening them.2. Undo the connectors for the pipes from the fuel manifold to the injectors, injector side, using a suitable spanner.

3. Tighten the connectors for the pipes from the fuel manifold to the manifold side injectors (3a) to the recommended torque using tool (3b).

Place the electrical wiring back in its housing and connect the electrical connections to the injectors.1. Refit EGR system solenoid (1a) with electropneumatic throttle body (1b), pipe (1c) and gaskets (1d) and secure with bolts (1e).2. Tighten the bolts fixing the water/exhaust gas heat exchanger for the E.G.R. system .

Place the bracket back in its housing and secure it using the nuts.1. Tighten the bolts securing the electropneumatic throttle body to the specified torque.

2. Connect the oil vapour recovery pipe to the cam cover and secure with a band.
