Removing ( Refitting ) Position the vehicle on the ramp.1. Disconnect the rapid connector for the return pipe heat exchanger side and drain the power assisted steering system fluid.
Drain the fluid from the power assisted steering system into a suitable container.
Proceed with the removal    Op. 4450B04 RIGHT FRONT WHEEL - R.R..Proceed with the removal    Op. 1092G10 SINGLE ENGINE BELT - R.R..Proceed with the removal    Op. 1092G14 ENGINE COMPONENT SINGLE BELT MOVING TENSIONER - R + R.Proceed with the removal    Op. 1092G20 ENGINE COMPONENT SINGLE BELT FIXED TENSIONER - ONE - R + R.1. Undo the bolts (1a) and remove the power steering pump pulley (1b).
1. Remove the coolant return pipe to the engine coolant supply reservoir (1a) after having disconnected the pipes (1b) and undone the fastenings.
1. Undo the lower bolt fixing the engine oil dipstick pipe.
Proceed with the removal    Op. 1044B10 FUEL FILTER ASSEMBLY - R + R OR REPLACE.Proceed with the removal    Op. 1080C24 E.G.R. SYSTEM SOLENOID - R + R.Proceed with the removal    Op. 1060F50 FUEL RETURN MANIFOLD - R R.1. Undo the upper bolt (1a) and remove the complete oil dipstick tube (1b).
Release the electrical cables from the fastenings on the pressure pump support.1. Undo the upper bolt fixing the alternator to the mounting.2. Undo the bolts (2a) and remove the upper alternator mounting (2b).
Loosen the connector on the delivery pipe from pump to power steering reservoir, pump side.1. Undo the bolts (1a) then move the power assisted steering pump (1b) as far back as necessary.
1. Completely undo the connector (1a) loosened previously and disconnect the delivery pipe from pump to power steering box (1b), pump side.
1. Undo the connector (1a) and disconnect the pipe from pump to power steering box (1b), steering box side.2. Release the pipe from the pump to the steering box, from the band securing it to the front suspension crossmember and remove it.
Refitting ( Removing ) 1. Place the supply pipe from the pump to the power assisted steering box (1a) back in its housing, connect it to the power assisted steering box and tighten the connector (1b) to the recommended torque.

2. Secure the pipe from pump to power steering box to the band fastening it to the front suspension crossmember.
Connect the supply pipe between the power assisted steering pump and the box to the pump and tighten the connector, but not fully.Place the power assisted steering pump back in its housing and fix it tightening the bolts to the recommended torque.

Tighten the connector for the supply pipe from the pump to the power assisted steering box, power assisted steering pump side, to the recommended torque.

Place the alternator upper mounting bracket back in its housing and secure it to the crankcase using the bolts.Tighten the upper alternator bolts to the specified torque.

SYSTEM SOLENOID - R + R.Proceed with the refitting    Op. 1044B10 FUEL FILTER ASSEMBLY - R + R OR REPLACE.Tighten the lower bolt fixing the engine oil dipstick pipe.Place the coolant return pipe to the engine cooling system reservoir back in its housing, then secure it and connect the pipes.Place the power assisted steering pump back in its housing and fix it tightening the bolts to the recommended torque.
