Functional description

The boody computer M01 receives the control signals from the front door locks, at pins 24 and 34 (unlock/lock) for the left front door geared motor N50 and at pins 17 and 35 (unlock/lock) for the right front door geared motor N51 .In addition, the operation of the central locking can be activated using the remote control via the aerial P93 connected to pins 21 and 31 of connector C of the body computer.

The locks communicate their opened or closed status to body computer M01 at connector A to the following pins:

  • 8 for the left front door;
  • 25 for right front door;
  • 16 and 26 for the left and right sliding side doors;

The body computer M01 controls the cental locking system motors, from pins 16 and 18 of connector D in the junction unit under the dashboard B02 via the short circuit couplings D97.The body computer M01 is supplied directly from the battery at pin A of connector C of the junction unit under the dashboard B02 . There is a protective fuse F1 for the direct supply located in the engine compartment junction unit B01 .Pins 8 and 9 connector D of the body computer are connected to earth.With the ignition ON, if one of the doors is opened, the appropriate door ajar warning light is displayed in the instrument panel E50. The supply lines arriving from the junction unit B02 via pin 11 connector E and pin A connector C also supply the instrument panel E50 via two lines protected by fuses F37 and F53 .
