Removing ( Refitting ) Disconnect the battery negative terminal.Place the car on a ramp.Drain the fuel from the tank using suitable equipment. Adopt protective measures to meet current safety requirements.1. Acting on the levers (1a), lift up the rear seat cushion (1b) and move the floor covering (1c) aside to gain access to the fuel pump flap (1d).
1. Undo the fixing bolts (1a) and remove the protective cover (1b).2. Disconnect the electrical connection from the level gauge.

Raise the vehicle.    Op. 7055B43 REAR WHEEL ARCH LINER (ONE) LEFT OR RIGHT - R.R.]1. Undo the bolts fixing the fuel filler pipe fitting to the bodyshell.2. Undo the bolts fixing the filler pipe to the bodyshell.
1. Unscrew the retaining bolts2. Remove the pipe protection bracket
1. Disconnect the anti-evaporation pipe (1b) from the vapour separator to the active charcoal filter from the rapid connector (1a).2. Disconnect the rapid connector for the rear supply pipe from the length of intermediate pipe.
1. Position an appropriate stand beneath the tank in order to support it during removal.2. Undo the tank bracket retaining bolts.Lower the hydraulic jack.3. Remove the fuel tank, complete with fuel filler pipe.
Refitting ( Removing ) Position the fuel tank on the stand.Raise the tank and tighten the bolts fixing the tank to the bodyshell to torque.
