223001558 - E2022 REVERSING LIGHTS - FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION

Functional description

The signal for activating the reversing light leaves the switch I20 , located on the gearbox, whose supply is controlled by the ignition (INT/A) via the connection between the ignition switch H01 and pin 1 connector E of the junction unit under the dashboard B02 . The line is protected by fuse F31 housed in the same junction unit ( B02 ) and passes through the engine compartment junction unit B01 entering at pin 11 connector B and exiting at pin 9 connector B.When reverse gear is engaged, the switch closes and the reversing lights in the right rear lights F31 and the left rear lights F30 are supplied via pin 8 of connector D of the junction unit under the dashboard B02 .At the same time, this supply is sent to the body computer M01 for the connected logic functions. The body computer is supplied via pin 11 connector E of the junction unit B02 from the ignition switch H01 (INT), or via a line protected by fuses F53 and F1 housed in junction units B02 and B01 , respectively, and, lastly directly from the battery via the protective fuse F1 in the engine compartment junction unit B01 .Pins 8 and 9 connector D of the body computer are connected to earth.
