) Place the car on a lift.Remove a rear wheel, proceed as in the example Op. 4450B06 LEFT REAR WHEEL - R.R..Raise the vehicle.Place a column jack beneath the rear axle, near the shock absorber to be replaced and slightly compress the rear shock aborber.1. Undo the lower bolt securing the shock absorber to the rear axle.2. Undo the upper bolt securing the shock absorber to the body.3. Remove the rear shock absorber.

Refitting ( Removing

) Position the shock absorber.Secure the top of the rear shock absorber to the body.Slightly compress the shock absorber and secure the bottom of the shock absorber to the rear axle.Tighten the bolt securing the shock absorber to the body to torque.

Tighten the bolt securing the shock absorber to the rear axle to torque.

Lower the lift.Refit the rear wheel, proceed as in the example Op. 4450B06 LEFT REAR WHEEL - R.R.Remove the car from the lift.
