Disconnect the engine oil vapour recovery pipe from the cam cover.2. Disconnect the connection sleeve to the filter casing from the cover.3. Undo the bolts fixing the exhaust gas supply pipe from the EGR valve.4. Undo the retaining bolts.5. Remove the cam cover with build-in vapour intake ducts.Recover the underlying gasket.

1. Undo the fixing bolt (1a) and remove the camshaft bearings lubrication pipe (1b).2. Undo the bolts (2a) and remove the camshaft caps (2b).3. Remove the camshaft (3a) complete with oil seal (3b).

Refitting ( Removing

) Fit the camshaft in the cylinder head.Tighten the bolts fixing the caps.Position the lubrication pipe and fasten it tightening the fixing bolts.Tighten the bolts fixing the caps to torque.

1. Fit the new oil seal (1b) on the camshaft using the tool (1a).

Fit a new gasket on the cam cover.Fit the cam cover with built-in intake ducts and tighten the bolts to torque.

Connect the engine oil vapour pipes to the cam cover.Connect the connection sleeve to the filter casing to the cover.Tighten the bolts fixing the exhaust gas supply pipe to the EGR valve to torque.
