2584120 - 0010T11 engine oil check level and top up

The check on the oil level should be carried out with the vehicle on a flat surface a few minutes after the engine has been switched off.
1. Extract the engine oil dipstick, clean it and then fully reinset it, extract it and check that the level is between the MIN and MAX marks on the actual dipstick.
The interval between MIN and MAX corresponds to about 1 litre of oil.
With the engine warm, work carefully inside the engine compartment to avoid the danger of burns. Remember that if the engine is very hot then the fans may start working: danger of injury.
1. If the oil level is close to or actually below the MIN mark, introduce the recommended oil through the filler until it reaches the MAX mark.
If, after checking, the engine oil level is above the MAX mark, it must be corrected.
After topping up the engine oil, before checking the level, let the engine run for a few seconds and wait for a few minutes after it has been switched off.
