The methane cylinders should be inspected and tested every 5 years.The inspection and test should be under the auspices of and paid for by ENI - Gestione Fondo Bombole Metano [Methane Cylinders Management Body] (except for the operations on the vehicle of dismantling and refitting the cylinders) organized in Italy through authorised cylinder collection centres.After the test has been carried out, ENI-GFBM will issue a special plate with the new expiry date for each cylinder.
