2584711 - 4110A31 Steering control shaft SUPPORT - R.R. for versions with Air Bag

Removing ( Refitting ) Disconnect the battery negative terminal.    Op. 5580C18 AIR BAG MODULE - R+R.

Before working on the Air Bag system, follow the safety instructions for working on the system very carefully ( 5580A   ).

    Op. 4110A11 STEERING WHEEL - R+R FOR REPLACEMENT OR CHECK FOR VERSIONS WITH AIR BAG.    Op. 7040A26 STEERING COLUMN TRIM - R+R..    Op. 5550A12 COMPLETE STALK UNIT - R+R FOR VERSIONS WITH AIR BAG.1. Undo the fixing bolt (1a) and disconnect the universal joint (1b) for the steering column. 1. Remove the aerial from the ignition switch. 1. Disconnect the electrical connectors for the ignition switch and place the wiring to one side.

1. Undo the fixing nuts and remove the steering shafts support. Refitting ( Removing ) Position the steering shafts support and tighten the fixing nuts to torque.

Fit the aerial on the ignition switch.Connect the electrical connectors for the ignition switch.

Connect the universal joint for the steering column and tighten the fixing bolt to torque.
