2584927 - 5530B26 lead between battery and starter motor - r+r

Removing ( Refitting ) Place the car on a ramp.1. Undo the fixing nuts (1a) and disconnect the electrical cables (1b).

2. Loosen the nut (2a) and disconnect the positive battery terminal (2b).

Open the protective cover for the electrical cables connected to the starter motor.1. Undo the fixing nut (1a) and disconnect the electrical cable (1b), starter motor side.

Release the cable between the battery and the starter motor from the retaining bands and remove it. Refitting ( Removing ) Check the condition of the cable.If necessary, conduct a continuity test.Position the cable and secure it using the retaining bands.Connect the cable to the starter motor and tighten the fixing nut to torque.

Close the protective cover for the connections on the starter motor.1. Connect the electrical cables (1a) and tighten the fixing nuts (1b).

Remove the vehicle from the ramp.
