Removing ( Refitting ) Place the car on a lift.Remove a front wheel, proceed as in the example    Op. 4450B02 LEFT FRONT WHEEL - R.R..    Op. 7055B54 PROTECTION/GUARD UNDER ENGINE - R.R..1. Undo the nut securing the wishbone ball joint to the front hub steering knuckle.2. Separate the wishbone ball joint (2a) from the steering knuckle using tools (2b) and (2c).

3. Undo the bolt securing the anti-roll bar to the wishbone, then remove the nut that secured the ball joint to the wishbone.
1. Undo the front bolt securing the wishbone to the front beam.2. Undo the rear bolts securing the wishbone and antiroll bar support strut.3. Remove the wishbone.
Refitting ( Removing ) Reposition the wishbone.Fit the bolts securing the rear of the antiroll bar and the strut, then screw in until they are fully home without tightening.Fit the bolt securing the front of the wishbone; if this operation is difficult, slightly compress the wishbone using a column jack.Screw in the front wishbone bolt without tightening.Fit the head (conical) to the pillar and tighten the retaining nut.

Tighten the bolts securing the anti-roll bar to the wishbone.Refit the front wheel, proceed as in the example    Op. 4450B02 LEFT FRONT WHEEL - R.R..Carry out final tightening of the wishbone and antiroll bar fastenings under theoretical design load conditions. Design load conditions on the front axle are achieved by ballasting the car (carry out this operation with the wheels fitted and the car on the ground or an appropriate lift). To do this, place 70 kg loads on the car floor in the areas in front of the right and left front seats. Then use a torque wrench to tighten the following bolts.1. Tighten the bolts (1a) and (1b) securing the rear of the wishbone and beam to the body; tighten nut (1c) and bolt (1d) securing the antiroll bar to the body to the specified torque; tighten to torque bolt (1e) securing the front of the wishbone to the beam and tighten bolts (1f) securing the antiroll bar to the wishbone.
