2RECEPTION AREA CHECKALL OKPROBLEMS ENCOUNTEREDACTION
Check that the fault is not present in areas of poor reception. The reception should improved significantly when the vehicle moves away from such areas. If the reception area is very poorly served, attempts to switch between frequencies may be perceived as pausesMove on to StepPoor receptionDeactivate the AF function
3AMPLIFIED AERIAL CHECKALL OKPROBLEMS ENCOUNTEREDACTION
Check the following, in order:

  • aerial coaxial lead continuity
  • power supply to the aerial amplifier and amplifier
  • correct aerial impedence
