Remember to follow all the safety regulations set out and, above all, to keep lamps or devices that could produce sparks or electrical discharges at a safe distance.
In order to carry out the test correctly, the LPG pressure downstream of the injectors must be less than or equal to 5 bar.For this purpose, proceed as described below:

  • Disconnect the connector for the solenoid valve from the LPG return line.
  • Disconnect the connector for the solenoid valve from the supply line.
  • Position the Gas/petrol selector to Gas mode.
  • Start the engine and wait for the system to switch to LPG and then back again to petrol.
Connect to the diagnostic equipment in the "Control Units Test" mode.Enter the "Parameters" ambient.Check that the "Gas Pressure" parameter is less than or equal to 5 bar. If the pressure is still high, repeat the cycle.Turn the ignition key to the OFF position.Disconnect the battery negative and positive terminals and connect them to ground using a cable.Disconnect the connectors from the LPG injectorsRemove the pipe retaining bands.Remove the LPG distribution manifold keeping the supply and return pipes connected.Remove the band for the connector pipe with the manifold and remove the latter.Introduce a small amount of oil into the test injector spray jet.Check that there are no gas leaks which would show up in the form of a series of oil bubbles.
