244001259 - 5020M50 ADDITIONAL INDEPENDENT HEATER WATER SUPPLY AND RETURN PIPES - R.R.

Removing ( Refitting ) - Disconnect the negative battery terminal.- Prepare a suitable container for collecting the engine coolant.1. Disconnect the independent heater water supply (1a) and return (1b) pipes in the engine compartment removing the retaining bands.
Mark one of the two pipes to prevent them being incorrectly refitted.
- Raise the vehicle on the lift.     Op. 1040A10 FUEL TANK - R + R AND DECANT FUEL- Prepare a suitable container for collecting the engine coolant.1. Support the weight of the heater unit and loosen the bolts (1a) and the nuts (1b) fixing the independent heater unit mounting bracket.
1. Disconnect the independent heater coolant inlet and outlet pipes loosening the retaining bands.
Mark one of the two pipes to prevent them being incorrectly refitted.
- Release the pipes from the retaining springs.- Remove the additional independent heater water inlet and outlet pipes. Refitting ( Removing ) - Connect the water inlet and outlet pipes to the independent heater unit using the retaining bands.- Fasten the support for the independent heater unit to the bodyshell tightening the nuts and bolts to the recommended torque.

- Secure the pipes to the retaining springs.- Fit the free ends of the pipes in the engine compartment.    Op. 1040A10 FUEL TANK - R + R AND DECANT FUEL    Op. 0010T20 COOLANT CHECK DENSITY AND TOP UP IF NECESSARY - Lower the vehicle on the lift.- Connet the water inlet and outlet pipes in the engine compartment using the retaining bands.    Op. 0010T20 COOLANT CHECK DENSITY AND TOP UP IF NECESSARY- Connect the negative battery terminal.
