- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.Op.7040H36ELEMENTO INFERIORE RIVESTIMENTO MONTANTE CENTRALE (UNO), SX O DX - S.R.1. Undo the bolt fixing the reel/pretensioner and move it away from the work area.
1. Unscrew the bolts securing the sidebag sensor complete with the bracket.2. Disconnect the sidebag sensor electrical connection.

3. Remove the sidebag sensor and bracket.- Working at the bench, unscrew the bolt and separate the sidebag sensor from the support bracket.
Refitting

- Working at the bench, fit the sidebag sensor to the support bracket and tighten the bolt.- Connect the sidebag sensor electrical connection.

- Fit the sidebag sensor and support bracket into the seat and tighten the bolts.- Fit the reel/pretensioner and tighten the retainining bolt to the recommended torque.
