244001612 - E2020 DIRECTION INDICATORS/HAZARD WARNING LIGHTS OPERATIONAL DESCRIPTION

Operational Description

The circuit is controlled from control panel H090, which receives a turn signal activation signal from stalk unit H005 (at pins 4 and 5 of connector A) and hazard warning light control switch built into the control panel.Stalk unit H005 supplies an earth signal C015 to control panel H090.Once the turn signal control is operated, control panel H090 supplies the turn signals as appropriate.

  • left front headlamp F010 from pin 6 of connector B;
  • right front headlamp F011 from pin 12 of connector B;
  • left tail-light F030 from pin 19 of connector B;
  • right tail-light F031 from pin 15 of connector B;
  • left side turn signal F020 from pin 20 of connector B;
  • right side turn signal F021 from pin 14 of connector B;
Simultaneously, control panel H090 turns on warning lights on control panel E050 via pins 13 and 18 of connector B.The red led in the switch comes on intermittently when the switch on control unit H090 is pressed.Control panel H090 is supplied via the ignition and also directly from the battery at pin 18 of connector D (INT) and pin 17 of connector B respectively from under-facia junction unit B002.The direct power supply is protected by fuse F01, locatd in engine bay junction unit B001, and another fuse F53, housed in the junction unit under the instrument facia B002. The ignition-operated supply is protected by fuse F37, housed in the junction unit under instrument facia B002.
