244001794 - E3080 HEADLAMP ALIGNMENT ADJUSTMENT OPERATIONAL DESCRIPTION

Operational Description

Headlamp alignment adjustment is managed by a dedicated selector H015. Pin 2 receives a power supply from the battery via fuse F15, located in engine bay junction unit B001. This power is supplied only with the dipped beams on, via relay T02, also located in engine bay control unit B001. Relay T02 is controlled from control panel H090, as soon as the dipped beams are turned on - from pin 3 connector of H005 to pin 17 connector 17 of H090 -. Selector H015 sends a variable voltage signal from pin 2 to pins 9 of front headlamps F010 and F011. Pin 3 of H015 is connected to earth C010.The correction motors inside the headlamps contain a transducer that estabilishes the travel to be completed on the basis of adjustment signal voltage. The motors receive power directly from the battery from pins 9 of front headlamps F010 and F011 via fuse F15.The headlamp alignment correction system works only with key ON (15/54).
