The engine control unit consists of a fan operated by the engine management unit in accordance with parameters supplied by the coolant sensor. Both fans operate at low speed, supplied via a resistance load that limits the current, and at high speed, governed by a dedicated relay located in the engine bay junction unit.The entire engine cooling system is protected by dedicated fuses housed in the engine bay junction unit.
