The supplementary heater consists of a fan and a radiator into which heated coolant flows. Air from the fan passes through the radiator and is heated to aid passenger compartment heating. The supplementary heater is activated manually via a key on the climate control unit. The fan power supply is directly from the battery and governed by a relay in the junction unit.
