The brake lights do not work when the brake pedal is pressed with the key ON.

Check the following, in order:

  • Brake light fuse;
  • Connections between battery, ignition switch, underfacia junction unit and brake light switch;
  • connections between brake light switch and bulbs;
  • bulb earth
Move on to Step1. Component defective1. Replace defective component (in the case of a fuse, find out what caused it to blow)
