Fit the tool 1.870.737.000 between the air hose and the air chamber.Connect the pressure transducer to the tool.Position the diagnostic equipment in the passenger compartment and make the connections.Select "pressure gauge" on the diagnostic equipment and prepare for the acquisition of data in "intake pressure" mode with a 2000 mmHg end of scale and selection time of 10 seconds.Road test the vehicle (sticking to the speed limits in force) as follows:with a motorway journey:
let the vehicle reach 2500 rpm in 4th gear;
initiate the acquistion by pressing start on the diagnostic equipment and about 2 seconds later fully depress the accelerator pedal until the engine speed is 3500 rpm;
once this speed is reached completely release the accelerator pedal;
display the resulting graph and in the pressure constant section, with the exception of the initial peak, the reading should be 1900 -2080 mbar (1444 -1581 mmHg) corresponding to a supercharging value of 900 -1080 mbar.
during an out of town journey at a fast speed:
