) - Position the vehicle on a lift. Disconnect the bands at the end of the pipe and remove the pipe complete with air supply from the turbocharger to the intercooler.

1. Undo the connector for the pipe from the return manifold.2. Undo the bolt fixing the pipe to the mounting bracket.3. Undo the connector for the pipe from the presure pump.4. Remove the pipe from the pressure pump to the fuel manifold.

1. Disconnect the electrical connection for the fuel pressure regulator.

2. Undo the connectors (2a) and (2b) and disconnect the fuel inlet pipe (2c), the injector recirculation pipe (2d) and the fuel supply pipe to the return manifold (2e) from the connector on the pump.

- Position a suitable container for collecting the oil in the filter under the oil filter.1. Undo and remove the engine oil filter.- Collect the oil that comes out of the crankcase and the filter cartidge.

1. Undo the connector and disconnect the fuel pipe from the pressure pump.2. Undo the bolts fixing the pump to the support.3. Remove the pressure pump.

Refitting ( Removing

) - Position the pressure pump on the support.- Tighten the bolts fixing the pump to the support to torque.

- Connect the fuel inlet pipe to the pump.- Fit a new engine oil filter, tightening it by hand.- Connect the fuel pipes disconnected previously to the pressure pump.- Connect the electrical connection for the fuel pressure regulator.

- Fit the new pipe from the pressure pump to the fuel manifold.

Each time work is carried out on the pipe from the pressure pump to the fuel manifold it has to be replaced with a new one to prevent fuel leaks from the connectors.

- Tighten the connectors on the pressure pump and the return manifold to torque.

- Fit the pipe complete with air supply from the turbocharger to the air/air heat exchanger.
