Removing ( Refitting ) - Position the vehicle on the lift.- Remove the front wheel.1. If fitted, undo the bolt (1a) and move the ABS sensor (1b).
1. Release the staking (1a) for the nut collar from the key notches (1b).2. Undo the hub fixing nut.
1. Disconnect the bands (1a) for the brake pipes from the supports (1b).2. Undo the bolts fixing the brake caliper unit.
The bolts fixing the brake caliper are self-locking and should always be replaced each time they are undone or loosened.
3. Move the brake caliper unit.
1. Position and fasten the brake caliper unit in the wheel housing and secure it without detaching the brake pipes.
1. Undo the bolts.2. Remove the brake disc.
1. Undo the nut fastening the side steering rod track rod end.
1. Disconnect the track rod end for the side steering rod using the special tool.

1. Undo the bolts fixing the steering knuckle to the track rod end on the track control arm.
1. Undo the bolt.2. Remove the shield.3. Gently tap the driveshaft to release it from the hub.
1. Undo the bolts fixing the steering knuckle to the shock absorber.2. Remove the steering knuckle assembly.3. Keep the brake pipe mounting bracket.
Refitting ( Removing ) - Check that the steering knuckle assembly is not damaged.- Place the steering knuckle assembly and the brake pipe mounting bracket in position.- Tighten the bolts fixing the steering knuckle to the shock absorber.

- Position the shield and tighten the bolt.- Tighten the bolts fixing the steering knuckle to the track rod end on the track control arm.

1. Stake (1a) the nut collar as described below. The collar should be staked on the opposite side to the direction in which the nut is closed (1b) so that it is more difficult for the nut to be accidentally loosened.
- If removed, place the ABS sensor in position and secure it using the bolt.

- Refit the front wheel.- Remove the vehicle from the lift.- Check the front wheel geometry.
