Refitting

- Position the vehicle on a lift.- Remove both the rear wheels. Op. 4450D10 HUB OF ONE REAR WHEEL, L/H OR R/H - R+R WITH WHEEL REMOVED- < R1 > (left and right sides)1. Working underneath the vehicle, undo the handbrake adjustment nuts.2. Remove the spacer.3. Undo the bolt (3a) and remove the support (3b).4. Release the ends of the outer casings (4a) from the retainers (4b) on both sides.
1. Release the cable retainers (1a) from the leaf springs (1b) on both sides.
1. Move the end (1a) of the handbrake cable in the compartment (1b) on both sides; then extract it from the handbrake shoe linkage.2. Remove the handbrake control cable.
Refitting

Removing

- Check that the handbrake control cable is not damaged.- Fit the ends of the handbrake control cable in the housing in the shoe linkage on both sides.- Fit the cable retainers to the leaf springs on both sides.- Fit the outer casings in the retainers on both sides.- Position the support and tighten the bolt.- Position the spacer.- Screw in the handbrake adjustment nuts without tightening them. Op. 3380A04 HANDBRAKE - CHECK TRAVEL Op. 4450D10 HUB OF ONE REAR WHEEL, L/H OR R/H - R+R WITH WHEEL REMOVED- < R1 > (left and right sides)- Refit the rear wheels.- Remove the vehicle from the lift.- Check that the brakes are working.Removing

Working underneath the vehicle, undo the handbrake adjustment nuts.2. Remove the spacer.3. Undo the bolt (3a) and remove the support (3b).4. Release the ends of the outer casings (4a) from the retainers (4b) on both sides.

Op. 3380A04 HANDBRAKE - CHECK TRAVEL Op. 3320B30 LH OR RH REAR BRAKE DRUM (ONE) R R- < R1 > (left and right sides)- Refit the rear wheels.- Remove the vehicle from the lift.- Check that the brakes are working.
