Removing ( Refitting ) 1. Remove the water shield.

The operation of removing the water shield is destructive. To prevent damaging penetration, a new shield must be used when refitting.

- Disconnect the rod from the lock.1. Remove the front side door safety device rod. Refitting ( Removing ) - Fit the safety device rod in the special housing in the door frame.- Secure the safety device rod to the lock.- Clean the area where the water shield is fixed to the door frame in order to remove any residues and make sure that the shield sticks properly.- Secure a new water shield to the door frame.
