Removing

Refitting

- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.1. Open the fastening bands (1a) and disconnect the pipe (1b) from the expansion tank and the pipe (1c) from the thermostat.2. Undo the fixing nuts (2a) and remove the rigid pipe mounting bracket (2b).
1. Undo the bolts (1a) fixing the power assisted steering fluid reservoir mounting bracket (1b) and move it out of the work area.
1. Remove the cover (1b) working on the fastening springs (1a).
1. Undo the nuts (1a) and undo the engine oil cap on the tappet cover (1b) and remove the sound insulation cover (1c).
Refitting

- Fit the sound insulation cover in place.- Tighten the nuts fixing the cover and the engine oil filler plug.- Fit the inspection cover in place and fasten it using the springs.- Fit the power assisted steering fluid reservoir mounting bracket using the bolts.- Tighten the nuts fixing the rigid pipe mounting bracket and connect the two hoses to the thermostat and to the expansion tank.- Fasten the two hoses using the bands.- Connect the negative battery terminal. Op. 0010T21 COOLANT CHECK DENSITY AND TOP UP IF NECESSARY
