- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.1. Undo the fixing bolts (1a) and lift up the passenger compartment carpet (1b).
1. Undo the fixing bolts.2. Remove the protective cover for the submerged pump housing.
1. Disconnect the fuel supply pipes from the rapid connector.
- Raise the vehicle. Op. 7055B54 UNDER-ENGINE GUARD - R R- Release the supply pipe from the fastening springs and release the pipe from the tank.- Lower the lift. See in Op. 1048A101. Disconnect the supply pipe from the fuel filter.- Release it from the fastening bands on the bulkhead.2. Remove the single fuel supply pipes from the upper part of the engine compartment.
Refitting

- Fit the single fuel supply pipes in the upper part of the engine compartment.- Connect the supply pipe to the fuel filter.- Secure it to the fastening bands on the bulkhead. See in Op. 1048A10- Raise the lift.- Position the supply pipe in the housing in the tank passing it between the bodyshell and the tank.- Fasten the pipe to the springs on the underbody. Op. 7055B54 UNDER-ENGINE GUARD - R R- Lower the vehicle.- Working from inside the passenger compartment, connect the supply pipe to the rapid connector on the pump.- Fit the protective cover for the submerged pump housing.- Fit the passenger compartment carpet and fasten it to the bodyshell using the fixing bolts.- Connect the negative battery terminal.
