244001137 - 3340B34 INTERMEDIATE FLEXIBLE PIPE (ONE), LEFT OR RIGHT, TO THE REAR BRAKES - R.R.

Removing ( Refitting ) - Position the vehicle on the lift.- Raise the vehicle.- Remove the protective cap from the bleed valve on the rear brake caliper.- Connect the recovery device (pipe and reservoir) to the rear brake caliper bleed valve.- Operate the brake pedal until the brake/clutch reservoir is drained.1. Undo the connector between the rigid pipe from the hydraulic control unit and the intermediate flexible pipe to the rear brakes.2. Release the spring retaining the intermediate flexible pipe to the rear brakes.3. Undo the connector (3a) and remove the intermediate flexible pipe to the rear brakes (3b).
Refitting ( Removing ) - Check that the intermediate flexible pipe to the rear brakes is not damaged.- Tighten the connector for the intermediate flexible pipe to the rear brakes to the connector at the rear axle for the rear brake pipes.

- Fit the intermediate flexible pipe to the rear brakes in the housing for the support.- Attach the spring retaining the intermediate flexible pipe to the rear brakes.- Tighten the connector for the intermediate flexible pipe to the rear brakes to the rigid pipe from the hydraulic control unit to the rear brake pipe connector.
