244001251 - 5020M14 SUPPLEMENTARY INDEPENDENT HEATER UNIT, REMOVED - DISMANTLE AND REBUILD

Removing ( Refitting ) 1. At the bench, disconnect the inlet pipe loosening the fastening bands. - Undo the bolt securing the silencer fastening band to the independent heater unit.1. Remove the silencer with the drainage pipe for the independent heater unit. 1. Disconnect the electrical connectors for the wiring from the independent heater.2. Remove the wiring for the independent heater unit. 1. Undo the bolts fixing the independent heater unit bracket.2. Separate the mounting bracket from the independent heater unit. 1. Remove the electrical connections protective cover.2. Disconnect the electrical connectors. 1. Undo the bolts (1a) fixing the water pump bracket (1b).- Remove the band securing the flexible pipe to the pump.2. Remove the water pump. 1. Undo the bolts fixing the fan assembly.2. Remove the fan assembly. Refitting ( Removing ) - Fasten the fan assembly to the independent heater casing tightening the fixing bolts.- Place the water pump in the correct fitting position.- Fit the flexible pipe on the pump and secure it using the band.- Secure the water pump to the independent heater casing tightening the fixing bolt for the pump retaining band.- Connect the electrical connectors and fasten the protective cover.- Secure the independent heater unit mounting bracket to the heater casing tightening the fixing bolts.- Connect the wiring electrical connectors to the heater unit.- Fasten the drainage pipe to the heater tightening the securing band using the bolt.- Fasten the air inlet pipe to the heater using the retaining bands.
