Removing ( Refitting ) - Disconnect the negative battery terminal.- Raise the vehicle on a lift.- Position a suitable container for collecting the fuel.1. Disconnect the metering pump inlet (1a) and outlet (1b) pipes loosening the retaining bands.- Undo the bolt fixing the metering pump to the mounting bracket.2. Disconnect the electrical connector for the pump.

3. Remove the fuel metering pump. Refitting ( Removing ) - Connect the fuel inlet and outlet pipes to the connectors on the pump using the retaining bands.

Take care to ensure that the pump is fitted in the correct position.

- Fasten the pump to the bodyshell tightening the fixing bolt.- Connect the electrical connector for the pump.

- Lower the vehicle on the lift.- Connect the negative battery terminal.
